On January 7, 2025, PowerSchool sent a communication to all their customers about the breach, including steps to determine whether our system was compromised. Following the steps within the PowerSchool notification, our BTCS Technology Department conducted a thorough review of our PowerSchool system security logs and internet traffic and concluded that our firewall was not breached; thus, the data on our PowerSchool instance was not compromised.
